This is a Brioche toasted breakfast I always make when I crave crunchy bread topped with cream for a sweet and satisfying start to my day.

Brioche toasted

I love this brioche toast because it’s quick and easy, and the taste is amazing of course. The crunchiness of the bread with the sweet, creamy topping makes it an enjoyable meal for morning breakfast, especially when paired with a warm cup of tea.

Just to note, the recipe isn’t complicated. If you don’t have brioche bread, you can use regular bread with the same instructions. However, brioche is much better than regular bread, so try to use it if you can, it’s often available in pastries and other stores.

For those who want to enjoy this brioche toast with different toppings, feel free to do so. The cream I add is optional and not required to make the recipe. You can choose any topping you prefer.

Notes!

  • Let butter soften before spreading to make it easier.
  • Don’t forget to Pour cream right after toasting so it warms up nicely.
  • You can use a spoon to drizzle cream if pouring is tricky.

Storing?

If you have extra brioche, let it cool down first. Then, put it in a box that keeps the air out. You can keep it on the counter for 2 days or in the fridge for up to 5 days. When you’re ready to eat it, just toast it again and add fresh cream on top.

What to Pair with Brioche Toasted?

Uselly I enjoy my Brioche toasted with some fruits like berries or sliced bananas for more natural sweetness. Also, sometimes I love to have it with scrambled eggs with some crispy sausages, but you can also have it with a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of granola if you don’t like cream on top, or with a Vanilla Bean Macaron that will add a soft and delicious vanilla taste to your meal. To drink, a warm cup of coffee or tea enhances the toast’s rich flavors, but you can also look for smoothies or juices.
