This is the first banana bread recipe I’ve shared on my blog. I started with Joy’s Banana Bread because it’s simple and delicious, and I haven’t found many people making it.

Joy’s Banana Bread is a nice and delicious version of the classic banana bread recipe. Made with ripe bananas, flour, butter, sugar, eggs, and a touch of vanilla, This version is simple and much better if you make it right, I love its taste as it is so rich, fruity, and slightly sweet, making it a lovely choice for me for breakfast or enjoyed as a snack too.

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

How to Make Joy’s Banana Bread?

Step 1:

Turn on the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2:

Take your ripe bananas and squish them with a fork in a big bowl.

Step 3:

Now, pour in the melted butter and stir it all together.

Step 4:

Sprinkle the baking soda and a tiny bit of salt into the bowl. Stir it up so everything is mixed well.

Step 5:

In another bowl, mix together the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla. Then, add this to the banana mix and stir again.

Step 6:

Slowly add the flour and stir until it’s all mixed. It’s okay if there are a few lumps! If you want, add some nuts or chocolate chips now (This is optional).

Step 7:

Use some butter or spray to make a 9×5-inch loaf pan slippery. Pour the mix in and smooth the top with a spatula.

Step 8:

Put the loaf pan in the oven for about 60-65 minutes.

Step 9:

When it’s baked, take it out of the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then Enjoy.
