I love making Fettuccine Primavera for dinner, especially when the whole family is gathering. It’s a creamy and hearty dish that’s so delicious and perfect for a family meal.

The first time I made Fettuccine Primavera was last week. I was looking for a new idea for a fettuccine recipe and found this one. I made it using fettuccine, cherry tomatoes, and bell peppers, and it turned out delicious with those veggies.

I Enjoyed this Fettuccine Primavera with some Cauliflower Bites, and it was so tasty, The combination worked really well. I think any crunchy side dish would be a great addition. I also enjoyed it with a cup of Azulito Drink, which is one of my favorite drinks to enjoy during the summer.

Fettuccine Primavera

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

Tools Needed

  • Large pot for boiling pasta
  • Colander for draining pasta
  • Large skillet or frying pan
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Measuring cups and spoons

How to Make Fettuccine Primavera?

Step 1:

First, Boil a big pot of water with a little salt. Add the fettuccine and cook it, After that Drain the water and set the pasta aside.

Step 2:

Heat some olive oil in a pan. Add cherry tomatoes and red bell peppers. Cook for 5-7 minutes until soft. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.

Step 3:

Turn the heat to low. Pour in heavy cream and stir. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes until it gets a bit thicker. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.

Step 4:

Put the cooked pasta into the pan and mix with the sauce and veggies. Add a pinch of salt, pepper, basil, and oregano. Stir and cook for 2 more minutes. After that serve your pasta and Enjoy.

Notes!

  • You can Save a bit of pasta water to add to the sauce if it gets too thick.
  • Try to Toss the pasta and sauce together well so every bite has some of the veggies and sauce.
  • Dried basil and oregano add great flavor to the dish, so make sure to use the fresh ones.

Storing?

Let the leftovers cool down a bit before putting them in a closed container in the fridge. You can keep them there for up to 2 days. To reheat, warm them in the microwave for 1 minute at a time. If the sauce is too thick, add a little milk while reheating.
